First day of the New Chinese Year.
Yeah, today's chu yi. First day of the chinese lunar new year. So by the chinese traditions of i don't know when, most chinese families would go door to door visiting their relatives today. Mostly their parents and siblings. Friends usually come later, not the 1st day. Alrights, so my family wasn't any different or special too, i went to my grandma's house at Queensway. Come to think of it, i only go once a year or so. How unfilial you may think i am but then again, my parents don't go there often too. Only ocassionly my dad went down to pass some money on and stuff you see. Thus, it's like that. We only have this gathering thing every once a year at chinese new year, thus, treasure it while i still can. =)
It has really been awhile seens i really look up at the night sky for stars. Today seem to have an extremely clear sky. Even though it was kinda bright, but i still manage to spot a few. Ah, how time flies. Really.
Tired.
Felt the night breeze today after having supper with yt again. 2 days in a row for now. It was cooling and mind refreshing. Something that i find healthy in a certain way, at least for me. But the late nights are bad I admit. *grins*. My parents are trying hard to stop me. =) I shall be a good boy and sleep soon I guess. (Even though it's already like 1:30am now)
Yeah, my mum and dad are still engross in their China New Year celebration programme on the tv, something that will never miss every year without fail. Also listening to them debating who's from Singapore and who's not. ( As in those performers, there are some singaporeans invited to perform apparently)
Today was kinda great. But the year seem quick to pass...
No matter how lonely in time we may be, there are always the stars above as looking down. It's just that we might not see them, but they always see us. =)
